Just some praise for Klaviyo

Not a shill, simply someone who runs an eCommerce division for a boutique brand women's fashion line. We sell around 40k a month in sales through our website (most of our business is wholesale driven) however over the past few years we've began putting a much more focused effort into the retail/ecomm side of things.

Since I started here we've been using MailChimp. Various points throughout the last two to three years I struggled with their support team, was told I was out of luck for certain requests, and all sorts of issues encountered trying to do anything moderately advanced with their system. Quite frankly, I hated it and the company. Our deliverability went to shit despite keeping our lists clean, our open and click-through continuously dropped month after month.

Spent about a week migrating to Klaviyo and re-creating our sign-up forms, cleaning out lists, setting up segments, creating automatons, adding forms to the site, and I'm so beyond impressed it's hard to explain. Their deliverability has been stellar thus far for the first few campaigns we've sent out, the system has has paid for years of itself from our first three campaigns, and their support team is super helpful and responsive. We even had an issue where our site's API was erroring on a certain subset of records causing the transactional history import to fail and just so I'm clear... this was entirely my problem, with my site giving Klaviyo invalid responses on certain records. Someone from their support team spent two days with me back and forth debugging the issue and providing ways for me to track down what was happening until it was resolved. They had absolutely no obligation to work with me and help me debug an advanced technical error with my code. Support like that alone is worth it's weight in gold now-a-days and is very rare in my experience.

Just wanted to share my excitement and love for this system already. It seems very heavily weighted towards the ecomm side of things (not that it couldn't be used for non-ecomm related mailing) but there's so much good stuff that this system does really well, it's wonderful. It may be slightly more expensive than some other players in the space, but like I mentioned... it's already paid for itself for years at this point several days in. Plus their integrations are killer and their automations are so easy to setup / tweak that there's practically no learning curve compared to the usability disaster that was MailChimp.

If you're a small to mid-sized business selling goods online, I can't see how it can get much better than this! Feel free to ask my about my setup on Klaviyo if you're curious. I've hooked to Facebook leads/audiences, AfterShip, ShipStation, and Magento which is what my store is built on.
