My product has about 40k users and my bounce rate is pretty low (< 1%). The open rate of my marketing campaigns (sent through SendGrid) fluctuates between 35% - 50%. The open rate of transaction emails (also sent through SendGrid via their API) has a wider range (I don't know how to get a stat here).
My understanding is the only factors for open rate are my domain reputation (which SendGrid reports as 99%) and my subject line + preheader. I know there are some tools to test if a subject line is "good" and I use them. However, I'm wondering if there are some "real world testing tool" that can I test my emails before I send them out.
I'm a noob so I may be doing things wrong here. Please educate me!
