I was spending time just now to find a way to set up a website for the purpose of promoting my group purchase deal and integrating a payment service/system to take care of the payment part.
Then, I thought, maybe I don't even need a whole website now. Since I plan on communicating via email, I was thinking that maybe I can achieve this solely using email marketing campaign.
Once some people sign up and decide to participate in the group purchase deal,
I initially collect their payment info using the link sent to them in the first email newsletter to them.
Thereafter, I periodically send them updates like
- Here is what you are getting this time.
- The order has arrived from the source.
- I have shipped out the item. Here is your tracking code inside.
- The order is now at your door. We have now charged you.
And inside any of these updates, there is a way to cancel/deactivate the payment plan.
Is this a possibility? Or do I have no clue what I am talking about?
For the time being, here are the options that I am checking out.
