How do I send a SendGrid template email from a Wordpress website sale?

This may be a dumb question so apologies.

I have Sendgrid linked to my Wordpress through WP Mail SMTP. If I make a sale on my website using a Stripe payment plugin (not Woocommerce or anything like that) is it possible to send the template I have created on SendGrid instead of the default Wordpress one? How do I go setting this up?
