How frequently can our sales reps send 1:1 emails to a small list of lost prospects

My company is a B2B upper Mid-Market - lower Enterprise eCommerce software provider. We have a very small list of opted-in lost prospects (roughly 195 email addresses). Our CEO would like us to “follow the big boys” like Magento or Hubspot with the same email frequency for both marketing emails and 1:1 sales rep outreach emails. This would be roughly 2 pieces of marketing content per month, and 2-3 sales emails. I agree with the frequency of the marketing content, but I disagree with the frequency of the sales emails. Our sales cycle takes about 4-6 months from SQL to close. What would be the best practice for us to follow? I’m worried we’ll have too many unsubscribes, and have virtually no list to market to. I should also add that this list has some very old contacts in it, but still valid addresses. TIA!
