Interpreting click reports in Constant Contact

I've just started using Constant Contact this week and I have a question about the "click reports".

I sent my first email yesterday and it had three links in the email. I notice that there are several, but not all, cases where all three links in the email were clicked. My thought was that these were highly interested customers. However, someone in my company brought up the issue that it appears that there is a pattern with many of the emails where someone clicked on all three emails are at the same company, and that this might be some kind of setting for receiving emails that shows all links have been clicked.

When I search on Constant Contact for clarification, I see this comment.

"Seems that a number of companies have started automatically tracing back all the links in emails. This makes the click reports pretty useless. Results are swamped with this."

So, does "automatically tracing back all the links in emails" mean that these folks didn't necessarily click on all three links? And, what is this called?

I'm having a hard time finding answers because I don't even know what to search for....
