I've seen several practices here. I've used ESP's that whenever an IP is no good, they just change it in their backend - Keeping the exact same domain. Deliverability has improved.
However I'm curious to know your guys' opinion whether one should scratch the IP AND domain as a whole, or just an IP and using same domain is fine?
