For years. now, I have had a Twitter, Facebook account and newsletter. Whenever I post something to Facebook, share on Twitter and then newsletter something feels cheap about the whole process. It feels redundant. So I'm wondering... do any of you forgo all social media and only focus on building your email list without any use of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc?
My theory is that if I only had a newsletter - and a quality one at that - it would be perceived as more valuable because the content couldn't be accessed everywhere and anywhere. It's only a theory, but I'm wondering if anyone is working this way.
Very curious to hear from some of you.
