Need to make a decision

Hi all,

I started a newsletter that has been growing well. The problem is that we're about to reach our limit on free Mailchimp.

A friend suggested sending emails manually with some sort of program (he has technical knowledge), but I like Mailchimp's email builder. If I switch, I've been looking into Campaign Monitor, they offer unlimited emails for $29.99/month, but their builder isn't as good as Mailchimp's. I also saw that there are many great HTML templates but I don't know if I want to do that just yet.

My main worry is having to pay lots of money because Mailchimp does get expensive really quickly and I don't think we're at a stage where we can find sponsors. I was wondering if someone here knows a good alternative that combines Mailchimp's interface and templates but with a price like Campaign Monitor for unlimited emails.
