I couldn't find an article online that reflected this so I wanted to come to you guys.
We have recently seen our open rates slashed because our emails have gone from primary to promotions. All the Spam tests suggest it and it seems our internal team members with gmail subscriptions to our list see it too.
I want to know if segmenting the list and aiming for higher open rates will lead to re-placement in the primary box or if I should do an old school "Whitelisting campaign" and ask some of our most engaged Gmail users to move our emails into "Primary"?
