Hi everybody,
I know that buying a database is a big red flag and trust me I almost always grow DB organically, however I found a site that offered a cheap service (80$ a month) and when trying it out, i found out that it had all the contacts that I got organically.
The database is by no means big, we are talking about 500-1500 contacts at most, highly highly relevant people that i know will be more than interested in the message that my client is delivering.
I was hoping to get an advise on how would you go about sending the email campaign.
The campaign will be a simple informative message, i want it to look as a direct personal email. Absolutely no HTML, images or anything of that kind.
I am almost considering sending it 1 by 1, changing the introduction on each, but it would be incredible time consuming.
I am considering Mailchimp, however i dont know what are the options when importing the DB (does it ask where the DB comes from? wouldn't that be an issue?
I am just hoping that these 500-1500 contacts will actually see the email and it won´t go to spam or promotional tab.
Again, this is by no means a typical email campaign where you are sending thousand of emails and are hoping for engagement or purchase. Someone from the client side mentioned firebird but i have no experience with it.
Thank you in advance,
B.
