I'm considering using a list filtering software like LeadFuse to get a B2B email list. I know all the steps to make a successful cold email outreach campaign from doing research (I also work in lead generation but on the B2C side).
I've got a product that I'm transitioning to B2B and wondering which method is better:
- Shooting for traffic from SEO
- Paid ads
- Cold email outreach
As far as I can tell, paid ads are great if you have the money to get great at it and are willing to risk algorithm changes. But from what I can tell, most platforms like Facebook and Google take larger budgets of thousands a month to fail your upwards and find decent conversions.
SEO is great and a specialty of mine, but it's getting harder to rank. And for a new site, it can be 9 months to 1 year before you see results. Then, you have traffic but not necessarily customers (something overlooked by tons of SEOs out there).
Cold email outreach is intriguing to me. If you personalize the message and send 300-500 campaigns a month (follow-ups included), you can still get 3-5 new customers at a 1% conversion rate.
Does anyone have experience getting more customers with cold email outreach and, if so, what has specifically made you more successful at it?
