How scalable is Odoo Mass Emailer

I have a list of around 9000 subscribers with Odoo. As my list is growing, I seriously need to work on segmentation.

Currently I am using Odoo, but the problem is that Odoo, isn't that user friendly. So I am wondering if anyone has succeeded using Odoo with large lists and complex segmentation.

We are a bootstraped startup and I would hate to continue using this solution and have to switch to another provider later. I value the familiarity with a solution and sticking to it, instead of growing out of it and having to learn a new tool.
