We used to send through a platform that counted inferred opens (i.e. someone does not download images but does click a link, inferring the email was opened). Our new platform does not do that and our open rates have declined.
Does anyone know of research has been done to determine how many recipients typically don't download images? We are trying to establish a new accepted baseline for open rates.
