If you're not a fan of Mailchimp's deliverability - you can use you very own Gmail account to send out newsletters(in limited numbers though).
Although it isn't very straightforward. You'll have to use something like SalesHandy to personalise the email, along with automating the email sends. I wrote the guide after one of our customers we know told us about how they've been using it to send out their newsletters.
