I've been experimenting with personalised images/GIFs in some of our email outreach - still early days but super effective so far and got some great responses.
The problem is that, right now, we do a manual mail merge of the emails. This way, each image is actually embedded into the email inline (instead of pulling from a URL).
Obviously, this is super inefficient so in order to scale it I've been looking at sequencing tools. But as far as I can tell, they all make you add the personalised image URL as a custom field or snippet.
The email then uses <img src="" to load each image from the URL where its hosted (which Outlook blocks by default) - which sort of defeats the whole point!
Are there any email sequencing tools anyone has found that actually merge personalised images into the email copy before sending to avoid the images being blocked?
