I want to ask a few questions of my email list but they are open ended questions and not demographic questions. I was thinking of creating a survey (I use mailchimp) or google forms.
But then I thought about it more and changed my mind. I think I am just going to ask informally in the body of the email.
I think people do not want to take an extra step or spend time filling out a survey. If they are interested they can just email me back with a general answer.
But I am curious as what someone with more experience thinks. Specifically someone who has already done this.
