We recently switched from Constant Contact to MailChimp, and the open rate of our latest bi-monthly newsletter dropped by 10% in comparison to when we used CC. Thoughts as to why?

Title basically says it all. We usually averaged an open rate of 24% but this last one plummeted to just barely 15%.

The last one we sent in Constant Contact had the same visual layout as the most recent one we sent in MailChimp. Send times were same day-wise but not time-wise (Constant Contact: Fri, May 15, 2020 at 5:09 pm CDT ; MailChimp: Fri, May 29th at 10:15 am CDT). And the "From" address was the same for both of them.

Curious what might be the cause. My boss switched us over to MailChimp because we could apparently get more exposure through their system, but it's been quite a learning curve.
