Spam - Words You Should Stop Using to Avoid Your Emails Getting Spammed

It's common and sometimes inevitable! Emails that you send (the email where you put your effort & spend time) end up in the spam folder 6 out of 10 times! It's because you might be doing more than what's needed, or doing things that are completely not needed! And it's your subject line that makes this worse!

The first thing your recipient sees about your email is the "Subject Line", and when you've failed to run the show here, there's going to be no CTR. But, if you've made things worse, you'll directly be sent to spam!

So, here are a few words you shouldn't be using on your Email Subject Lines!

Words that Promise or Guarantee!

You might think that getting the hopes of your recipients high is a good way, but trust me - it doesn't work and might even end up very bad for you!

- 100% Free

- Additional Income

- Double Your Income

- Free Access

- It's Only for You!

Avoid Words that Create Insane Urgency!

- Act Now!

- It's Now or Never!

- There's NO BETTER TIME!

- Offer Ends In XX XX XX Hours!

- There's No TOMORROW!

Avoid Words that are Spammy By Itself!

- Congratulations! You've Won!

- No Purchasing! No Investment!

- Trying to tell your customers that mail isn't a spam.

- And try to avoid words that seem to be lucrative - Cash Bonus, Discounts, Loans, Profit, Extra Credit and more!

Email marketing is quite a great channel if you're looking to drive more conversions to your business. But it only works if you do it right! The more your emails get spammed, you lose credibility in the long run amidst your customer because Word of Mouth is something that make or break things in an instant!

Hope you found this useful! Also, let me know if you have any other ideas that could avoid your emails ending up in the spam folder!
