So, I've experienced an unusually high Soft Bounce rate (15%+ !!) for the last couple of email campaigns I've sent.
Looking into it, I can see that virtually all of them are either AOL or Yahoo email addresses. The Soft Bounce reasons are either bad-connection or message-expired (not specific to either domain, just mixed).
Before these campaigns, all those email addresses were receiving our emails without issue.
These emails contained several images, but the size of the email was well beneath the recommended practice I've found online.
Any ideas? Why do you think this is happening with these domains specifically? Has anybody experienced something similar?
Also, do you know if Soft Bounces affect our domain's reputation?
I appreciate any insight.
