What is the most sleek and modern looking email marketing service with a free plan?

Think Squarespace email marketing in terms of design - but free. Minimal. Sleek. Modern. Less freedom to screw up.

I am okay with not having varied utility and advanced functions, I just need crisp sleek email template design and basic functions. That's why a free plan with a less known service that focuses on design is cool with me.

I will be creating email campaigns for my new skincare blog and I am totally new to this - just starting with email newsletters and contact collection.

I haven't had the time to register a free account with all of these services recommended by Sprout - anyone has any experience which one has more minimal and sleek templates?
